Activity: Walk-In Distribution (Outdoor)

Help set up and tear down this market style event, register community members to receive food, and distribute the food directly to our guests.

Requirements

Closed-toe shoes are required. Volunteers must be at least 12 years old to participate. All minors must be accompanied by an adult. Volunteers should be able to lift up to 25 pounds repeatedly for this activity. This activity will occur outdoors, rain or shine. Please prepare for the weather and consider bringing water.

Volunteers will be asked to confirm upon check-in that they have reviewed our Civil Rights Training Materials found here: https://pittsburghfoodbank.org/civil-rights-training-materials/. Volunteers are expected to stay for the duration of the shift.
