Romans 8:29 shares God’s purpose for our lives…to become like His Son. He doesn’t just want to save us, He wants to shape and mold us into the likeness of Jesus! At our Women’s Retreat this year, we’ll look at Martha and Mary and let their story teach us that it’s not in the doing but in the being where we will see transformation come about in our lives. Their story invites us to consider our own way of living and stirs us to choose “what is better”, just as Mary did.
Our retreat was wonderful last year! Seeing God minister to the hearts of our women and their response in worship back to Him was a joy to watch. Our time with each other was sweet, peaceful, and soul-replenishing. I can’t wait for us to go back and experience it all over again! Hope to see you there!
