The HBCU Week Gala was born out the success of the HBCU Week initiative. The purpose of this black-tie fundraiser is to raise funds for HBCU Week, assemble its supporters and honor individuals who have demonstrated a significant commitment to this initiative.

HBCU Week Foundation, Inc. is recognized by the IRS as a 501(c)(3) non-profit corporation.

Contributions less a $250 portion of each ticket, are otherwise deductible to the extent allowed by law.
