HBCU (B)LACMA Takeover 2026 #3

Its time again for the HBCU takeover at (B)LACMA! Every year and every month, they are geting better and better and this one is our biggest year yet! We are calling all friends & families of HBCU alumni to come out Friday, June 5th for an evening of jazz and fellowship. Bring a blanket, bring a friend, and bring food & beverages. It might be kinda chilly, so you may still bring a covering. We are starting early in the season this year to get maximum cultural exposure.
Note: Review the museum's policy on alcohol at outdoor events before you attend.
Please arrive early and wear some sort of paraphernalia so that we can easily spot each other in the crowd. Also, Invite all HBCU alumni and friends that you know.
This is a family-friendly event and as the sun sets it will get cool so dress warmly for the change in temp.
So let's have a big turn out and celebrate Black Excellence with our LA HBCU family. We look forward to seeing you there! Let everybody know. This year will be Epic. The remainder of the summer, they will be on the first Fridays of the month. Also, we would like to include all HBCU chapter presidents, or their lieutenants as Co-hosts.
