About the trail:

The Hazelwood Arts Trail (HAT) is a self-guided walking trail, website, and printed map connecting permanent public artworks and community identity in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania’s Greater Hazelwood neighborhood. The neighborhood is home to more than a dozen works of public art, steel sculptures, community murals, and hand-crafted installations; created over two decades by local artists, student welders, and residents working together.

The Greater Hazelwood community recognizes the importance and unique role art and creativity play in making the neighborhood a vibrant, colorful, and dynamic place that reflects the culture, history, and values of the people who live, work, recreate, and worship there. Art brings people together.
