About this Event
Purpose: Educate students on identification of and response to hazardous materials incidents. Includes sections on: planning response, implementing procedures, decision making, and continued evaluation. State written and practical will be administered at the end of academy. Dates: December 2 – December 18* Cost: $0 per student Equipment: IFSTA 5th Edition Hazardous Materials for First Responders Structural Fire PPE that meets NFPA 1500 Department issued SCBA with mask and fit test (you supply book and PPE) Pre-requisite: Must have current affiliation with a fire department
