I wasn't sure if I should offer this, as it is OUTDOORS in WINTER, but I am planning on going anyways, and based on asking people, it sounds like a few others are interested too! We haven't been west of Asheville yet, and I've been wanting to do some sketching out that way. The ice fest has mesmerizing live ice carving demonstrations, thrilling ice games, dazzling light features, and a variety of local vendors! I shortened the time since it's an outdoor event in winter. Dress warm! I'm looking forward to seeing the clever ways people come up with to sketch ice! A ticket is required to attend: $7 in advance or $10 there. I don't believe tickets are on sale yet, but I'll add a link once they are. I will cancel in case of rain or snow.
For those who are interested, we will meet up at Frog Level Brewing for dinner/drinks after sketching, so we can warm up.
