Join DanceSportVA and A Time to Dance for our Hawaiian Shirt Dance Party! Two group dance classes, Student Highlight performances, and a night of social dancing. Dress in favorite Hawaiian theme!The fun begins with a beginner Country 2-Step group lesson at 6:30pm followed by a second country 2-step group lesson (beyond beginner level) at 7:30pm. Sara Austin from DanceSportVA will teach both lessons. Then dance the evening away with DJ Zhenya Klyukin of A Time to Dance in the Main Ballroom (Ballroom, Latin, Country & club dancing) or in the Dance Club (Argentine Tango) where Southside Tango will be hosting a Milonga. At intermission we will have 1 or 2 student hightlight performances, door prizes, and a fun contest (contest changes each month).
The theme this month is 'Hawaiian' so dress for theme and let's have some fun with it.
