Sat Dec 10 2022 at 09:00 am to 03:00 pm
Mindful Living Group | Kihei, HI
About this Event
Join Mindful Living Group and David Bruce Leonard, L.Ac, herbalist and author, as he leads participants on an exploration of Hawaii's plant life, focusing on plants commonly found during the fall and beginning of winter seasons. Each workshop will identify and cover plants unique to the monthly immersion including plant identification, medicine making, excursions, and more!
Workshops follow the same lecture + plant walk model as our Introduction to Edible & Medicinal Plants Course beginning with lecture/teaching followed by excursion and outdoor application of knowledge but are condensed into one day per month exploring different plants at each event. Transportation is NOT included for excursions.
We will be meeting at Mindful Living Group for the first part of the day for lectures, herbal formulas, ecology. Later participants will break and meet back at various outdoor locations for a plant walk excursion.
Recommended items to bring:
- comfortable clothing and shoes for walking outside
- sunscreen or hat
3 Week Pass includes a FREE Medicine at Your Feet: Healing Plants of the Hawaiian Kingdom Workbook. Books available for single day ticket purchasers.
