In June of 1776, Patriot forces at Fort Moultrie defended Charleston from a British invasion. Just under four years later, in May of 1780 the British would be back, and this time they would occupy the city for two years.
On Saturday, May 30th, 2026, come see a city once again under British rule! Interact with the soldiers and civilians of Revolutionary Charleston, see what life was like for Charlestonians living under the rule of the crown, and be a part of history. Choose your side in a war that is far from over.
