About this Event
The Eastside Jewish Commons and Eric Stern Music present Havdallah Cafe! We warmly invite you to have havdallah with us and then celebrate life, cafe-style with tea, coffee, games and live music! Havdallah cafe in February will be a Judeo Arabic- themed night with live Judeo Arabic music to recall our Middle Eastern diaspora. It's not a performance though-rather let the music be the background to a night of conversation, card games and backgammom. Come share the warmth of Havdallah in the winter months! Food okay to bring but no pork or shellfish. We encourage you to bring games: Rummikub! Backgammon! Uno! Interested in learning Mahjong? Morgan Senkal will be available to give a Mahjong primer!
Suggested Donation $6-$18 person please register! No one tunred away for lack of funds.
