Havana Glasgow Film Festival School Screening
About this Event
Havana Glasgow Film Festival are delighted to offer Scottish schools another free school screening event.
HGFF will present a selection of short films by award winning animator Ivette Avila Martin including a short demo of her stop motion animation techniques, which some of the audience will have an opportunity to try out.
We will also share our 3 ‘how to’ videos for schools to access, explaining the process for making three different kinds of simple animations and develop creative digital literacy contexts in the classroom.
This year will also include an added bonus! The UK is back in the European Education Programme, Erasmus Plus. HGFF have participated very successfully in the previous Erasmus Plus programme and the second part of our school screening will offer information on how to develop film making and digital literacy with European partners through funding available for schools.
An exciting opportunity to bring the world to your classroom, create, collaborate and potentially fund international projects and visits.
Light refreshments will be provided and registration is from 9.30 to 9.45
We look forward to seeing your school at the event.
