This course allows you to develop many draping techniques, which are essential to a career in Fashion Design.You will be able to develop and finalize your advanced Haute couture dresses on your own using real fabrics
No previous experience needed!
The course will cover the following:
Practical application to obtain measurements.
Basic pattern with the dart.
Basic skirt
Flat draping dress & Cascade & Ruffles.
Ribbon horns.
Mermaid dress.
Heart shape Draping
French Corsage
Final Project: Wedding or Evening dress using real fabric.
Shirt with Raglan sleeve.
Collars: Baby collar 2, Flat & Jabot & Cowl collar, Classic single Breasted collar
Classic Shawl collar
Sleeves: The Basic two-piece sleeve.
Skirt: skirt with yoke and knife pleats.
Blouses: shirt yoke & shirt with wide collar.
Jeans & Jumpsuit.
Project: Evening Dress with style line or Armhole princess with liner & Jacket with lining.
Duration: 140 hours
Twice a week " Monday & Wednesday " from 6-9 pm
