Haust-Boð

The chill in the air
The crunch of the leaves
A cauldron of soup bubbles over a crackling fire
Join The Barony of Madrone this Autumn at Haust-Boð and Lets celebrate the fall season with food, friends, and learning!
What’s that, you ask?
The name Haust-Boð (pronounced Howst-both) comes from Old Norse and can be translated as Autumn Feast.
This event will be a combination of last years Baronial Feast and Last years Yule. Having two large style events was putting a bit of a strain on the Barony so we combined them into one event.
The idea is to gather together and celebrate our wins over this last event season. Swap stories of your battles on the field, retell your best “there I was stories” share knowledge in the form of classes or game plan how you will get through to the next event season
Location: Fauntleroy Church Fellowship Hall in West Seattle
Event Fee: $30
(Members receive $10 off admission, Youth 17 and younger free)
**Site Rules**
No Weapons on site
“Discretely Wet” Although we have purchased a banquet license, if you decide to enjoy adult beverages please keep your sensibilities about yourself and remember your actions reflect upon the Barony and SCA as a whole.
