🍻O’Zapft is!🍻 Vector HAUSFEST returns for the sixth annual Oktoberfest block party in the Highlands on Saturday, October 11!
Join us for a full day of shopping, live music, brews, food, weenie dogs, und football! As always, Oktoberfest attire is encouraged for those looking to put in the extra effort. And the best part? NO TICKET IS NEEDED!
🛍 Small Business Market Village - 11am-5pm
Take a stroll through our back parking lot and support local by shopping local! Pottery. Candles. Tasty treats. Jewelry. Toys. There's something for everyone.
🍻 German-style brews on tap!
Enjoy a taste of the Deutschland with our seasonal favorites, including Hausfest Oktoberfest-style Festbier, our new Hefe German-style Hefeweizen, Mountain Child German-style Pilsner, and Moonsmoke Lichtenhainer-style Tart Smoked Lager.
Get your first pour in our souvenir Das Mug 0.5L glass stein of frothy goodness for just $20 and keep the stein. (Mug refills just $6! Supplies limited, so get here early!)
🏈 Hut-Hut!
It's TX/OU weekend! We'll have the big game on the TV's starting at 2:30pm (w/ sound on inside the taproom) so you won't miss a play.
🥨🍕 Bites and Brats!
Wunderbar! We'll have giant pretzels w/ beer cheese and mustard, plus brats on brats! Brat pizza? Check! Brats on a bun? Check! We'll also be offering a limited menu of our stone deck, sourdough pizzas during the party.
🐶 Weenie Dogs!
We will once again feature our annual Weenie Parade (with The Dachshund Lovers of Texas Rescue) starting around 2-2:30pm. Any attendees that own a dachshund are welcome to feature their pups in the parade too! And of course there’s a prize for best-dressed pup.
🪗 Live Music in the Biergarten!
Crowd favorite the Oom-pah Daddies will be performing their style of party polka and Balkan rock from 12-2pm in the biergarten outdoor patio, followed by the coolest young high school rockers in the 'hood, Halfway Down.
🍺 Games and Feats of Strength!
Stein Hoisting Contest at 3pm
Arm straight out, elbow locked, don’t spill a drip. See if you can last the longest! There will be both a men’s and women’s division, with only 12 spots for each contest.
Party winds down at 8pm, close at 10pm
**HOUSEKEEPING NOTES**
The Children’s Half Pint play area will be closed in order to make room for our entertainment at noon. Children are welcome to attend, but please keep an eye on them. The Kiddie Curfew will be in effect starting at 8pm. Leashed pups are also welcome outside (no dogs inside as per city health code.)
We will not be offering our normal takeout for the day. We thank you for your understanding.
Parking in the Lakeridge shopping center will be limited, so we highly suggest a ride share such as Uber or Lyft, or parking in the neighborhood and walking a bit. Needless to say, please be courteous to our neighbors and respect our ‘hood.
