Camaraderie holds a different meaning for everyone. Linguistically, for people with Socialist and Communist political ideologies, a comrade is a proletariat who aims to dismantle the bourgeoisie, but, what makes a true comrade?
Does it involve pinkwashing, a splash of rainbow capitalism, the licking of the metaphorical boot that kicks the proletariat's arse? Are you a comrade who claims to be a vigilante – but is really a cop?
Bigboy believes there's a cop inside of all of us, and Haus of Pigs ultimately is exploring if we can ever truly escape our inner pig.

At least 30 minutes before the show. Our performances start bang on time and it takes a hot second to welcome you into the building.

The Butterfly Club is a licensed venue. Accordingly, patrons under 18 are only allowed on premises in the company of a parent or legal guardian.

We strongly encourage using public transport. The Butterfly Club is a short stroll from Flinders Street station and Melbourne Central, and an even shorter stroll from any tram that travels through Swanston or Collins Streets (get off at Town Hall).
