Haunted Nights Presents "The 1912 Hoover House with the Wraith Chasers"

DID SOMEONE SAY IT'S ANOTHER FIRST TIME LOCATION??? YES IT IS!!!

Come join in the fun as we visit the 1912 Hoover House for another first time location with the Haunted Nights Crew and our special guest Chris and Mike from the Wraith Chasers. This will be a 2 night event at the Historic 1912 Hoover House, so choose which night will work best for you, or do both with our special Haunted Nights VIP Access Pass. Friday night's event will be an evening of up close and personal access to the Chasers as we will have a limited amount of tickets available for our special VIP Party/Investigation. There will be heavy finger foods, snacks, and beverages available for the party. Saturday night's event will consist of a meet & greet, Q&A with the Wraith Chasers, and an evening of investigating this beautiful location. Light snacks and beverages will be provided as well.

History Of The Historic 1912 Hoover House

The Hoover House was built as a private residence in 1912 by Ira and Ella Hoover after they sold their farm which was situated south of Waynesboro and is now the Municipal Golf Course. After the deaths of Ira and Ella, Elenore their only child, inherited the home and lived here until her sudden death in 1954. She passed of Coronary Thrombosis in what is now The Holtzer Suite, as she was writing a book about the history of Waynesboro. After Elenore's death, Joe and Carolyn Ausherman purchased the house and raised their family here. They preserved the Hoover House's original original beauty for three decades. During the 1980's the Ausherman's sold The Hoover House to The Eigenbrodes.

In 1984 Dick and Joann Eigenbrode opened a full service restaurant with dining and meeting rooms on the first and second floors. The Coal Mine was opened in the basement of the restaurant as a more casual lounge. The restaurant lasted for a few years, and in 1987, the Hoover House was turned into a nursing home, serving as such for 15 years. In 2004, another couple, Barb and John Persun, purchased the building and opened The 1912 Hoover House restaurant in September 2005; they lived on the second and third floors of the house. However, by 2011, the restaurant had closed down and the house was listed for sale and sat vacant for over a decade.

Today the Historic 1912 Hoover House will be open to the public. Come stay and investigate the History, Mystery and Haunts of it's bygone days.

Friday Night's Activities

Heavy Finger Foods, Snacks, and Beverages provided

• 6:00pm - VIP Access Ticket Holder registration begins
• 6:30pm - General Admission Ticket Holder registration begins/meet and greet with the Wraith Chasers, Haunted Nights Crew, and owners of the Hoover House Steve and Pam Barry
• 7:30pm - Introduction, Rules and Regs for the night's event, and Historical Presentation of the 1912 Hoover House
• 8:00pm - Q&A with the Wraith Chasers
• 8:45pm - Break before investigation
• 9:00pm - Investigation Begins
• 1:00am - Investigation Ends

We will do 4, 45 minute investigations with a 15 min break in between. This should put our ending time close to 1am. (Subject to Change)

***As the restrictions start to calm for COVID-19 in Virginia, this gives us time to start planning for Haunted Nights Paranormal Events!!! Safety has been a big priority over these past few months, but just know that we will be following all the regulated guidelines at the time of this event. We do encourage everyone to bring a mask for your own safety. We will have a limited supply of items on hand during the event!!! It's all about returning to normalcy and helping keep our great HAUNTED location businesses alive***
