HAUNTED HUSTLE FOR HOPE
Join The HOPE Program's Associate Board for the Haunted Hustle for HOPE 5K — a timed, Halloween-costume race through Riverside Park on October 24th. Enjoy coffee, bagels, and mingling before and after the race.
Prizes awarded for
- 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place finishers
- Best individual costume and best group costume.
All proceeds fund HOPE's green economy training programs, helping New Yorkers earn living wages that transform their families and shape our city's future.
ABOUT THE HOPE PROGRAM
For 40 years, HOPE has helped individuals facing systemic barriers to employment — including long-term unemployment, court involvement, and homelessness — build lasting economic mobility.
Our participants train for careers in the green economy, earning industry-recognized certifications in green construction, building operations and maintenance, and horticulture, all at no cost to them. Beyond training, we provide wraparound support like case management, meals, transportation, and professional clothing, plus two years of alumni support after graduation.
