đ» What to Expect
Halloween-Themed Searches: Navigate a spooky, maze-like search area with your pupâfilled with mysterious corners, eerie lighting, Halloween dĂ©cor, and haunting background music.
Fun for All Levels: Whether youâre just starting out or a seasoned sniffer, this event offers a festive challenge for everyone. Search areas will be the same for all teams but will be run in two experience groups:
Level 1: 0â2 years nose work experience
Pairing Option Available: Novice teams may choose to pair with another team for extra support and guidance during searches. Paired teams wonât be eligible for the additional prize, but itâs a great way to set newer teams up for success.
Level 2: 2+ years nose work experience
(Weâll start with the novice group. A run order will be emailed the week before the event so experienced teams donât have to wait as long.)
Friendly Competition: Timed searches in a playful, pressure-free setting. Prizes for the team in each level who finds the most hides with the fewest faults.
Trick-or-Treat for Teams: Every registered team will receive a small Halloween treat bag for their pup.
Costumes Welcome: Both human and canine costumes are encouraged, but not required.
