What secrets lurk in the hidden hallways of the Fairbanks Museum? This century-old building holds stories that have never been told … until now. Are you brave enough for the scariest haunted experience in St. Johnsbury? We dare you to step into our long-forgotten past. You'll encounter spine-tingling spookiness as you descend the back stairway and explore hidden basement passages, where horrifying taxidermy -- too disturbing to display -- tells a story we thought was in the past. Have these nightmares been trapped in the Museum's basement for too long? Escape if you can!Taxidermy Terror is for for teens (over 14 years old) and adults. Children 13 years old and younger will not be admitted. The experience begins with a visit to the Museum's main galleries where you'll discover clues to the hidden backstory of a forgotten taxidermist before you embark on a trail through off-limits areas of Fairbanks Museum. The entire experience lasts about 30 minutes, plus activities and treats. Our goal is to create an atmosphere that will scare you, but we do not want anyone to be harmed. This haunted trail through the Museum's basement involves stairs and uneven surfaces, flashing lights, jump scares, and gory/violent content that some might find disturbing. Please read the warning about the content and enter only if you're comfortable with a thrilling experience that includes surprises.

You will experience intense audio, lighting extreme low visibility, strobe lights, fog, special effects, sudden actions, scents and an overall physically demanding environment.
You should NOT ENTER a haunted house if you suffer from asthma, heart conditions, seizures, physical ailments, respiratory or any type of medical problems, or are pregnant or suffer any form of mental disease including claustrophobia.
CHILDREN UNDER THE AGE OF 14 WILL NOT BE ADMITTED.
DO NOT ENTER if you are intoxicated, wearing any form of cast, medical brace, using crutches, or have any type of physical limitations.
DO NOT ENTER if you are taking medication or using drugs of any type. You will not be admitted if any of these conditions are to be noticed by our staff.
DO NOT smoke, run, eat, drink inside the Fairbanks Museum.
DO NOT touch actors, customers, or props.
DO NOT run, push, or cause harm to actors or guests, or damage props or the building.
No video or flash photography may be taken inside the Fairbanks Museum.
You will be asked to leave the property if any of the rules are not followed.

Holder of the ticket understands that there is inherent risk involved with going through Taxidermy Terror, and each ticket holder voluntarily assumes all risks and dangers associated with participation. In consideration and acceptance of entrance into Taxidermy Terror, ticket holders agree to release the Fairbanks Museum & Planetarium, its trustees, directors, employees, and volunteers from any liability, harm, injury or death, cost or expense whatsoever that may arise directly or indirectly from attending Taxidermy Terror.
