Il Dolce Suono (aka the mad scene) from Lucia Di Lammermoor - Donizetti: A musical and emotional rollercoaster filled with fake blood, bizarre hallucinations, and stunning coloratura. Lucia, coerced into an arranged marriage, tragically stabs her new husband to death on their wedding night, then wanders among the horrified wedding guests, singing forth her derangement.
