Haunted Gallery - fine art in the dark // NYC Halloween 6PM-12AM Nightly

Explore our haunted night gallery where over 50 NYC artists have their dark, curious, surreal, whimsical work on display in South Park Slope, Brooklyn from OCT 16 - NOV 2. Instead of brightly lit gallery walls, we turn the lights off and hand you a flashlight.

Get curious and come explore art in this new immersively eerie way. The vibe is a mashup of a bar - a gallery - and a haunted house. A creepy playlist from scary movies past will accompany you. Incredible art in multiple mediums including painting, illustration, photography, printmaking, collage, assemblage, and digital. Come for the art, stay for a drink.

The Skeleton Crawl is not your typical art exhibition. We are a crowd-funded arts organization that began as a rebellion against the contemporary fine art gallery scene. We showcase subject matter, mediums, and styles that often get overlooked by curators and we purposefully juxtapose works in a wide price range to keep art accessible to a variety of art lovers.

We want to revive the dying art of buying art by creating a different way for artists to be discovered. Our online gallery is up year round and we host a pop-up interactive multi-medium art experience in NYC once a year in honor of Halloween.

SHOULD I WEAR A COSTUME?

Always? We always encourage costumes, but anyone is welcome as they are creepy or not. Feel free to express yourself!

IS THIS A GOOD EVENT FOR CHILDREN?

We suggest to use discretion. This pop-up is meant more towards big kids. The art is not usually horrific or overtly grotesque in nature, but there is imagery that could be triggering to some.
