It starts at Signal Hill School, 40 Signal Hill Place in Belleville.

Are there ID or minimum age requirements to enter the event?

Not really, but because of the time of some of the tours, this might be an event that adults and older kids would enjoy the most.

What are my transportation/parking options for getting to and from the event?

You may use the parking lot at Signal Hill School. There is additional parking at Signal Hill Park, accessible from Carbon Street.

Will restrooms be available?

Yes. A portable restroom will be available at Signal Hill School for your convenience.

Do I have to bring my printed ticket to the event?

You may do so, but showing it to us on your phone works, too.

Is my registration fee or ticket transferrable?

Transferrable to another tour time or date? No.  To keep the group sizes managable, your ticket is good for the date and time indicated thereon ONLY.

Transferrable to another person?  Maybe.  If you want to trade tickets with another attendee, you may do so, but this swap must be arranged between the two parties without the involvement of the STCCHS.  Feel free to use the Discussion section of the Facebook event page to look for a possible counterparty for your trade.

Is the Historical Society saying that ghosts and the supernatural are real?

No.  That is a metaphysical question.  We're historians, not philosophers. The stories of the supernatural that you'll hear on the tour are presented for ENTERTAINMENT PURPOSES ONLY.  The STCCHS, its staff, officers, directors, and members make no claims in the affirmative or negative regarding anything of a supernatural nature.
