Come to your mat to connect with YOU! This 1-hour class combines breath, movement, strength, and flexibility in a way where the student is encouraged to explore the feeling of the postures, rather than focus on how the postures look.This class will be taught in a manner than is gentle and welcoming for all body types and fitness levels. For any poses involving balancing, students are always encouraged to use the wall for support when needed. This is not a power yoga class, but is meant to stretch and open the body, mind and spirit.
Typical class flow will include:
-Begin class with getting grounded (talk, meditation, or mindfulness exercise)
-Some breath work
-Asana (movement) practice
-End practice with a blissful 3-5 minute Savasana
Hatha yoga teaches us how to use our bodies and minds for self-realization. The benefits of practicing yoga may include:
