Countering Hate Learning Session & Collective Painting
Join the Regional Diversity Roundtable (RDR) for an inspiring afternoon of creativity, learning, and community action. This special event brings people together to explore how we can build a more inclusive, respectful, and hate-free Peel Region while supporting community-led initiatives.
Whether you're passionate about equity, community engagement, or simply looking for a meaningful way to connect with others, this event offers an opportunity to learn, reflect, and contribute to positive change.
What to Expect
Hate-Free Peel Learning Session (3PM to 5PM)
Participate in a free interactive workshop focused on:
- Understanding the impact of hate and discrimination in our communities
- Building awareness and empathy
- Exploring practical ways to respond to hate and promote inclusion
- Strengthening community connections and collective action
Learning Session: Free of charge
🎨 Collective Painting (5 PM to 6.30 PM )
Enjoy a collective painting experience in a welcoming and creative environment. No prior painting experience is required, just bring your enthusiasm! All materials will be provided.

About Hate Free Peel Community Collective
The Hate Free Peel Community Collective is a community initiative led by the Regional Diversity Roundtable. Guided by the Hate free vision statement for Peel Region where everyone feels safe, valued, respected, and empowered to belong, the Collective brings together residents, organizations, and community leaders to address hate through education, dialogue, awareness, and collaborative action.
