Hatch Workshop: Bird puppets for young children

Duck lovers ages 5-12 should grab their elder duck and waddle down to ArtYard for a crafty morning devoted to the art of duck puppet-making in the leadup to The Hatch on May 17.

Youngsters and their parent, grandparent, or adult caretaker are invited to work together to craft their own unique flapping duck puppets in The Hatch Workshop. We will adorn our puppets with stickers, colored tape, ribbons, and other joyful notions. Our completed duck puppets will celebrate their fledgling flight outdoors in a small procession in front of ArtYard where loud quacking, awkward hopping, and swooping is encouraged.

Workshop Fee: $10 for kids

Suggested age range: Children 5 to 12 with one adult collaborator

When registering, please include the age of children so we can anticipate needs for this workshop.
