The Hat Ladies of Johnstown are showing off their stunning hat collection in the “I shall wear a crown” Exhibit, celebrating African American heritage in our region. The exhibit is on display from June 6 – July 21, 2024.
Now is your chance to get involved and make your own fabulous hat!
Join us on Saturday, July 20 from 10 AM – 5 PM at the 3rd Avenue Folk & Ats Fest!. All skill levels can participate. Our BW Kidz Zone artists will be on hand to assist with hat decorating with materials of your choice. We will have white baseball caps and white beach hats available while supplies last (first come first serve), but you are welcome to bring your own hat to decorate or spruce up.. You can paint, draw, or craft your hat with supplies from our classroom. (beads, buttons, fabric etc.)
One hat per participant.
