Harvest Your Creativity Workshop: Costumes, Cosplay, and Haunted Houses!

Learn theprocess and wonder behind cosplay and costume creation, and the thought processes of making a Haunted House! Steven Geary will be sharing some of his own work, and the steps he took to create the various suits he's made; which ranges from full suits, to small masks. He will also be going into brief detail how he got into making the Denver Parks and Recreation Haunted house and the processes to get it up and running.

Steven Geary is a self-taught cosplayer and creator who has loved costumes, monsters, and cool characters for as long as he can remember. As a child, he played make-believe with towels as capes, dog chains as tails, and all sorts of imaginative props. It wasn't until around 2015 that he began to explore the idea of cosplay and creating his own costumes. Thanks to the wonderful opportunity of working with Social Enrichment on their Haunted House and attending various conventions with friends, Steven was able to cultivate his interests into a full-blown hobby. Since then, he has learned 3D printing, sewing, sculpting, muscle suit fabrication, and much more. Steven hopes to continue his creative journey, exploring new directions and opening doors to exciting possibilities.
