Mistletoe has been tied to myth, magic, healing, and more since ancient times and across various cultures. It grows in abundance here in north Texas, and my family has traditionally harvested in alignment with the Celtic traditions that tie the harvest to the 6th day of the moon after the Winter Solstice. This year, I invite you to join me in the annual harvest. The location is yet to be determined but will be near Frisco/Plano. I will bring the tools and altar cloth for catching the harvest, along with some small bags for distributing to those who gather.
The harvest will be conducted in a ceremonial and honoring way.
