Matty Sunshine Sound Healing and Harmonic Egg & Wellness GR invite you to welcome the fall season by listening to soothing sounds during the Harvest Moon & Lunar Eclipse Sound Bath.
The September 7 Full Moon, also known as the Harvest Moon, marks the transition to autumn - a time for introspection, abundance, reflection, gratitude, and preparation for the colder months. Also occurring September 7 is a Lunar Eclipse. These eclipses signify the end of a cycle and the beginning of a new one, encouraging us to let go of the past and embrace change. So, let’s do just that and transition into the new season together, allowing healing sounds, vibrations, and frequencies to help us release what no longer serves our individual journeys toward becoming our most authentic selves.
Before and after the sound bath, guests are invited to tour and learn more about the healing powers of The Harmonic Egg® from Courtney Yarch, a certified Level 2 Integrative Health Coach and Nutritional Kinesiologist and the owner of the only Harmonic Eggs in West Michigan. The Harmonic Egg® is a revolutionary resonance chamber designed to support your body’s natural ability to reset, relax, and restore itself. SOUND BATH: A sound bath is a deeply immersive, full-body listening experience during which various instruments produce specific sounds, frequencies, and vibrations to shift brainwaves into a relaxed state. In this state, a person's innate healing abilities can work more effectively to bring them back into vibrational alignment while balancing the mind, body, and spirit. During this sound bath, Matty Makowski, a certified Sound Healing Practitioner and owner of Matty Sunshine Sound Healing, plays 8 crystal singing bowls, a Heng gong, tuning forks, Tibetan singing bowls, and Tingsha cymbals. The sounds produced by these instruments invite you into a deeper state of consciousness, serve as an opportunity to unplug from external stimuli, and promote self-inquiry/discovery. The sound bath begins with guided meditation and breathing to ground the body and relax the mind. For the remainder, different sounds, frequencies, and vibrations fill the air while you simply enjoy your listening experience.
WHAT TO BRING: This sound bath lasts approximately 60 minutes. During this time, you may choose to lay down, sit up, or some combination of both - whatever helps you enter a peaceful, calm state of mind. Please bring your own yoga mat, and we also recommend bringing a pillow(s), blanket(s), and water and wearing cozy clothes. You may also consider bringing something additional to lay on top of, like an extra yoga mat or blankets, for increased support and comfort. Eye masks will be available if needed.
