🍂 Harvest Home Sunday — November 23 🍞As the season of gratitude approaches, Central United Methodist Church celebrates Harvest Home Sunday, a cherished tradition of giving thanks and giving back. Each November, our church family and community come together to fill brown grocery bags with nonperishable, shelf-stable foods that will be shared with our Shepherd’s Supper guests and CHOW.
đź›’ Bags will be available the first Sunday in November and throughout the month.
Those who are able are encouraged to fill a bag with items such as canned fruits, vegetables, soups, or proteins. Whenever possible, please choose cans with pop-off lids for easier access.
This simple act of generosity carries great meaning. In a time when many families are facing new hardships and SNAP benefits have been reduced, every contribution helps fill not only plates but hearts. Together, we can be a light of hope and love for our neighbors who need it most. đź’›
