We’re excited to announce our first community dinner at Lighthouse Holyoke! This one is special because it will feature Indigenous speakers on the importance of food sovereignty, especially in light of the “Thanksgiving” (Thanks-taking?) holiday which is quickly approaching. Locally farmed and foraged food by Chef Neftalí Durán and dessert by Lighthouse Holyoke students. Sliding scale, no one will be turned away due to lack of funds (but additional funds will go directly towards our programming). Family friendly! Come eat, listen and play games in community! ¡Estamos emocionados de anunciar nuestra primera cena comunitaria en Lighthouse Holyoke! Este es especial porque contará con oradores indígenas sobre la importancia de la soberanía alimentaria, especialmente en relación con el día de “Acción de Gracias” que se acerca rápidamente. Comida cultivada y recolectada localmente por el chef Neftalí Durán y postre por los estudiantes de Lighthouse Holyoke. Escala móvil, nadie será rechazado por falta de fondos (pero los fondos adicionales se destinarán directamente a nuestra programación). ¡Apto para familias! ¡Ven a comer, escuchar y jugar en comunidad!
