Drop by our garden activity station to create your own corn husk doll using natural plant materials and learn how communities have transformed harvest crops into art, toys, and cultural keepsakes for generations.

This family-friendly activity is perfect for children and adults alike and offers a fun opportunity to get creative while connecting with the plants, stories, and traditions of the harvest season.

This is a free drop-in activity designed for children, families, and visitors of all ages. No experience is necessary, and participants are welcome to add their own creative touch to this traditional harvest craft.

LOCATION | This activity takes place exclusively at Vizcaya Village, the estate’s historic farm village, and does not include access to the east side of the property where the Main House and gardens are located.

VIZCAYA FAMILY PROGRAMS | This series is designed to create opportunities for intergenerational interactions among families with young children (ages 6-12). As such, orders that do not include a child ticket may be canceled.

To promote inclusion for all, Vizcaya ensures that all community programs, after-hour and weekend events for locals, feature activities that are physically accessible to all visitors. While not all areas of the estate are wheelchair accessible, community programs are purposefully located in areas without stairs or that can be accessed via a ramp.
