hARTcliffe FUNdays: outdoor family arts days

Day-long outdoor family art festivals for families living in BS13 to enjoy together. Please note these are not drop-off events. Children must be accompanied for the duration of the event.

These events are held at at Teyfant Road Adventure Playground, BS13 0RF (or at Hartcliffe Community Centre if wet).

Gates open at 11.15am and close at 3pm. Throughout the day there will be arts and crafts, outdoor circus, music, theatre and dance presented by Bristol-based artists. Performances will be spaced throughout the day.

Bring your own picnics. No alcohol on site please.

Each child will receive a take-home pack of creative materials at no extra cost.

Why aren't these events totally free any more? Because we found repeatedly that when we ran these events for free lots of people would book but then not show up. We go to a lot of effort to provide this programme and need the events to be well-supported so we can keep getting the funding to provide live arts events for our community.

The minimum donation is £1 per person. If this fee is too much, but you would still like to attend, please contact us on [email protected] and we can make arrangements on a case-by-case basis. As we've said, the fee is not not make money. The fee is to hopefully encourage people who have booked a ticket to show up.

There are only 60 places available per event for both children and adults. This is to ensure we can steward the events safely. Please book tickets in advance to ensure you can attend.
