Christmas is just a few days away. Harry has the tree, the jumper, and the wine, but, yet again, he has only received a slender number of cards.
As the big day draws nearer, Harry becomes increasingly aware of his lack of fellowship in this expertly observed study of what it means to be isolated at a time when images of family and togetherness are impossible to avoid.
First performed 40 years ago, Steven Berkoff’s darkly comic exploration of male loneliness over the festive period remains searingly pertinent.
