Nestled within the enchanting walls of TRICA Castle, a historic landmark lovingly repurposed by a dedicated non-profit organization, the Harry Potter Hogwarts Ball finds its magical home. Celebrating its 26th year, the Treasure Valley Institute for Children’s Arts (TRICA) has transformed this once-forgotten gem into a hub of creativity and inspiration for children and families throughout Idaho's Treasure Valley. Originally the Immanuel Methodist Episcopal Church, built in 1907, this iconic structure had faced the threat of deterioration and neglect, listed among the "Top 10 Most Endangered and Threatened Historic Sites in the State of Idaho." Yet, through the incredible efforts of over 2500 individuals, including students, parents, community members, and major foundations, this cathedral was not only preserved but also reimagined as a beacon of artistic exploration and education. Today, TRICA Castle stands as a testament to the power of community, art, and the enduring magic of history, providing a truly enchanting setting for the Harry Potter Hogwarts Ball.
