The Harrisburg University Annual Gala is a special night devoted to sharing HU’s achievements and celebrating the HU community. The night is filled with many exciting updates, inspiring words from our students, and a look at what’s to come at Harrisburg University. Not only are we proud of how far we have come over the last 25 years, but we are also excited to share our plans to expand to provide even better opportunities for students by developing new academic schools and programs, investing in powerful partnerships, and ultimately making good on Harrisburg’s and Pennsylvania’s belief in our humble institution.
During the evening, we also highlight an Impact Award Winner: a very special person in our community whose commitment was vital to the creation of the University.
As it was when the University was founded, we remain committed to providing educational opportunities to those with significant financial challenges. Although Harrisburg University provides scholarship support to every single undergraduate student, sometimes it isn’t enough. Proceeds from the Annual Gala support the Harrisburg University Scholarship Fund, which provides financial support to our most disadvantaged students to meet needs beyond college tuition. By paying for things like food, clothing, and rent, we can ensure our students aren’t forced to choose between meeting their basic needs and leaving college.
We are so proud of our mission, and we appreciate for your support. The HU Annual Gala is a night about coming together to celebrate the success of our students and investing in the growth of our entire community.
