Appointments are conducted in a professional and discreet setting and may include the evaluation of:

Signed oil paintings, watercolours, drawings, photographs, and limited-edition prints and multiples, including lithographs, engravings, and etchings. We welcome works spanning Old Masters and classical subjects through modern and contemporary art.

Sculpture
Examples in bronze, marble, stone, wood, ivory, and other traditional materials.

Porcelain & Decorative Objects
Centrepieces, vases, figures, and plaques by European, American, and Canadian makers, including Sèvres, Meissen, KPM, and related firms.

Quality Contemporary Ceramics
Studio and art pottery by notable makers such as Rookwood, Harlander, Deichmann, and comparable artists.

Signed Art Glass
Art glass by respected makers including Lalique, Gallé, Daum, Baccarat, Venini, Orrefors, Tiffany, and others.

Sterling Silver
Hallmarked silver tea and coffee services, tableware, presentation pieces, boxes, candlesticks, candelabra, wine tasters, and related forms.

Clients may choose to sell items directly for immediate payment, consign to an upcoming Harrington’s auction for broader market exposure, or obtain a professional evaluation with no obligation to sell.

Items valued at $500 or more are typically considered for purchase or auction consignment. Commission rates generally range from 15–25%, depending on value. Harrington’s manages every aspect of the process, including photography, research, shipping, insurance, and auction placement, ensuring a seamless and secure experience.
