Akbar Chaudry is back in Canada for his first ever show in Vancouver! Join us for a night full of comedy where Akbar makes you nostalgic and homesick!
This one hour special is all abouts 90s nostalgia, how it was to grow up in Karachi and everything in between. If you buy a ticket to this show chances are you'll be buying a ticket to go back and visit home very soon! This show is for Pakistanis and is a mix of English and Urdu/Hindi.
Akbar Chaudry is a stand-up comedian from Karachi. He has been closely involved with the comedy scene in the city. In addition to performing internationally, he has toured the UAE, KSA, USA, Canada and UK most recently. However, ever since the pandemic started, his focus has shifted to digital content with his weekly series "Ranty Ronay", which was well received by online audiences. Previously, he hosted a morning show on Dawn News, Chai Toast aur Host, and taught improv and performing arts at IoBM. Akbar also has a Master’s degree in Aerospace Engineering. His knowledge of aerodynamics helps him ensure his jokes don’t drag.
