Key competencies include: - **Data Management:** Acquiring, geocoding, and manipulating spatial datasets - **Visualization:** Creating thematic maps and utilizing data repositories - **Analytical Skills:** Linking exposure and contextual data for health risk assessments and performing basic spatial analysis --- **SOFTWARE** Primary tools: **QGIS** (core workshop tool) and **R** (introduced as an optional component for bonus advanced materials) Both are free, open-source platforms widely used in academic research, government agencies, and global health organizations.
