Harmony Theatre will hold auditions for Rogers & Hammerstein’s Cinderella at Mt. Zion UMC in Marietta, GA.! Auditions will be held on May 13 & 14 at 7pm in the church Sanctuary.Please come prepared with 18-36 bars of a song from a musical similar in style to Rogers & Hammerstein’s productions. Please bring your track on a device that can be streamed to a bluetooth speaker.
All roles are open to all ethnicities. Harmony Theatre supports and encourages diversity in all casting. NOTE: Harmony Theatre is an all volunteer troupe and we do not offer pay or stipends at this time.

Performance Dates: July 19 & 20, 2024 (3 performances total)
Rehearsals will begin in May immediately after the show is cast. They will be in the sanctuary of Mt. Zion UMC on Tuesdays and Thursday evenings, Saturday mornings/afternoons, as well as Sunday afternoons.

Synopsis:
Rodgers and Hammerstein’s enchanting adaptation of the timeless fairytale, Cinderella, was their only musical originally composed for television. When the television program, starring Julie Andrews as Cinderella, first aired in 1957, it was the most widely viewed program in the history of the medium at that time. Since then, Rodgers and Hammerstein’s Cinderella has continued to charm audiences in productions on stage and on television. Their adaptation brings new life to the story of a young woman forced into servitude who dreams of – and achieves – a better life. Cinderella features some of Rodgers and Hammerstein’s most beloved songs, including “In My Own Little Corner,” “Impossible,” and “Ten Minutes Ago.”
