Harmonious Junk was formed in 2001 as a side project for James Brown Guitarist, Damon Wood. His intent was to have something fun at home to work with in between JB’s world tours. The band has always been a mix of Funk, Rock and Jazz with a JamBand mentality. Twenty-two years later, Wood is still at it with a relatively new lineup for 2023. Band veteran Jeff Brink is still holding down the Drums, with Vince Meyer recently switching from Guitar to Keyboards, and the addition of Matt Bassano on Bass. They have released 3 albums of original material and are working on new material for a mostly instrumental Progressive Rock album and a Rock Opera called 'Eddie The Maggot'. Harmonious Junk has been featured in Relix Magazine and awarded "Best Denver JamBand" by Westword Magazine. You can expect a high energy show with classic covers and well crafted originals, a variety of musical styles, and high level musicianship.
