Harley Weigle – Ceramics | Opening at EM Studio Gallery
About this Event
Join us for the opening of a ceramics exhibition by Harley Weigle.
Harley Weigle is a ceramic artist, educator and marketing director whose work moves between craft, material and contemporary culture. He is Adjunct Professor of Ceramics at Shippensburg University, teaching wheel throwing, handbuilding and sculptural practice, and Marketing Director of Mudtools, an innovator in ceramic tool design.
His studio practice explores form, surface and process, balancing utility with aesthetic intention. Rooted in material knowledge and the tradition of functional pottery, his work is a continuing dialogue between the handmade object and its cultural context.
