Costa Mesa Speedway at the Orange County Fairgrounds has featured Speedway Races for decades. Speedway Racing happens on a 1/8th mile dirt track with professional riders who have trained their whole lives to race those small tracks…. They open it up to any fool with a Harley three times a year.On Harley night you’ll see it all. You’ll see the pros who know what they’re doing and the guys on customs Harleys built for this kind of racing. You’ll also see a few guys with more guts than brains, out on the track racing their baggers, complete with saddle bags and ape hangers. Most do not fair that well and it’s a blast to see.
Shawn "MAD DOG" McConnell will ride his last race tonight, after 50 years on the oval as Brad and Jaleen would say "PITCH' N IT SIDEWAYS"
MAD DOG #6 is a legend, come out and be a part of cheering him on his final lap.
Also, the FDR Foundation will announce the winner, of the raffle for the 1994 FXR, Harley Davidson motorcycle. Will it be YOU?
Lifestyle Cycles Riding Group will also lead a ride to the event. Meeting at the shop at 4:30 KSU at 5:00pm
40 riders can sign up for the Harley Davidson Parade lap.
