Join us at the Adam Clayton Powell Jr. State Office Building, 3rd Floor Art Gallery for an evening filled with powerful discussions, art, and inspiration. RESISTANCE, REVOLUTION AND STILL I RISE is a HER-STORY woman art exhibit and film screening in partnership with ImageNation and G. Mills Open Studios. Exhibit opens at 1 PM and Film starts at 6:30 PM. This special Harlem World Magazine ACE pre-event will showcase works by phenomenal Black women artists and a special screening of the award winning film Justice 4 Three by Black woman filmmaker Denies Blaine. About the film

"Justice 4 Three" is a poignant documentary that examines the tragic impact of a hate crime in Fort Wayne, Indiana, in early 2021, focusing primarily on Anderson Retic Chinn, a young black man whose life was cut short. While the brutal incident reverberated throughout the community, the full details only emerged during the sentencing in August 2023. This film utilizes testimonies drawn straight from court transcripts to provide a harrowing account of the events, shedding light on the devastating reality of racially motivated violence.
