About this Event
Harlem Strong Coalition Meeting #10
Join us for the 10th Harlem Strong Coalition for a conversation on the connections between economic opportunity, financial well-being, workforce success, and mental health.
This hybrid event (in-person attendance encouraged!) will explore how communities can address the structural and financial barriers that impact employment, economic stability, and overall well-being. Speakers will highlight NYC poverty reduction initiatives, financial empowerment strategies, and innovative approaches to integrating workforce and wellness supports.
Hear from leaders working across poverty reduction, financial empowerment, and workforce development, followed by a panel discussion and audience Q&A.
Refreshments and light snacks will be provided. Please RSVP for this event so we can have headcount!
Speakers:
- Yael Gil’Adi, PhD | From Barriers to Opportunity: NYC's Approach to Poverty Reduction
- Jonah Dill-D'Ascoli | Financial Empowerment as a Pathway to Career Success
- Karen Diggs | Grant Associates x Harlem Strong: A Model for Workforce and Wellness Support
