Calling all music lovers!Bring your chairs and blankets out to Carl Levin Park on Friday, July 22nd to celebrate the City of Harker Heights becoming a designated Music Friendly Community in the state of Texas! Starting at 6 pm you can sip and stroll while listening to live music and sampling local food trucks and vendors until 8 pm.
There will be featured local artists as well as a few surprises!
The Texas Music Office from the Office of the Governor, will be in HH to present our Designation.
Participation in the Texas Music Office's "Music Friendly Community" program provides Harker Heights with a network for fostering music industry development, and shows industry professionals that we are serious about attracting and developing music industry growth!

Along with this process, the HH Chamber is collecting entries for our (soon to be) FREE public local music directory! If you know a local musician, band, venue, music school, music instructor or more, email us their name, email, & a contact number to submit their information: [email protected]
You can support the music industry by:
* Adding local music industry information to our free directory!
* Encouraging live music at local establishments.
* Showing up for live music and by creating a welcoming atmosphere for performers.
* Creating Facebook events for music and tagging the performers and the HH Chamber. The chamber can help promote through media outlets.
