2 bands raising money to help fight for a cure for Multiple Sclerosis!
Members of Among the Rest: Korey Lalonde, Gord Muir, Anthony Giacalone, Larry Giacalone have formed a band named Damage Phase and will be joined by Devilz By Definition in hosting this event inspired by Korey and his fight with MS.
All proceeds will be donated to MS Canada!

Korey's Story:
I was diagnosed with Relapsing-Remitting MS in January 2026 after I began experiencing symptoms in September 2025. This included numbness in my whole right arm, the fingertips on my left hand, walking issues, double vision, dizziness, and fatigue. Following a week-long hospital stay in mid-October, tests revealed lesions on my brain and spine. The neurologist on my case told me he believed that I had MS and referred me to a specialist in London, Ontario who confirmed my diagnosis. MS takes a lot from you, in my case my independence as it lead me to have to rely on others for things I used to be able to do by myself. There have been times where I’ve felt isolated, frustrated, and misunderstood because nobody can fully understand what living with MS feels like unless they have it themselves. I’ve had to work to regain the things that I could and learn to let go of what I haven’t gotten back. I began my treatment in March 2026 and while I’ve been able to return to a lot of the things that I love doing, I am constantly reminded every day that I am not the same person I was before I got sick. There is currently no cure for MS, only treatments that slow its progression. That is why I want to make a difference for others that are also affected by this disease, by doing something that I love and that I am eternally grateful to still be able to do: perform with my band. Together, we can work toward a future that will one day have a cure for MS, one song at a time.
