New York State's longest running and largest drawing Tribute to the music of Tom Petty returns to the Middle Ages Beer Hall. Presale $10. Day of show tickets jump to $20 so don’t wait (last year this show sold out).
Hard Promises" is comprised of five veteran Central New York musicians featuring current and former
members of Kane, Benny Mardones’ Hurricanes, The Shop, Zoid, Joe Bonamassa band, Tickets, Custom
Taylor, and Jake Fake and the Liars. The members of Hard Promises have shared the stage with Starship,
Eddie Money, Dickey Betts, Blues Traveler, Loverboy, Lou Gramm, Joan Jett, Blue Oyster Cult, Great
White, Spin Doctors, and the legendary B.B. King.
Hard Promises has performed for, literally, 10’s of thousands of people at festivals and casinos. Their
annual Petty Fest concerts have drawn over 1,800 attendees each of the last three years.
This will be HP’s longest Tom Petty performance ever. three full hours (two full sets). This will allow HP to play even more of Tom Petty's catalog including his biggest hits, songs they haven't performed in years, and songs that HP has wanted to perform for years but haven't had the time in the traditional format of past shows (including deep cuts).
“One of our favorites every year at the Great New York State Fair” Troy Wafner, Former New York State Fair Director
Director, as seen on WSYR 9 daily talk show, Bridge Street, 2019
“If you want to feel like you are at a live Tom Petty show, these are the guys” Paul Picarri, Founder of
America’s Largest drawing Led Zeppelin band, Get the Led Out
“Hard Promises was chosen to be on our national Television show, Clash of the Tributes over, literally, 80
other Tom Petty Tribute Bands.”- John Campbell, Executive Producer, Clash of the Tributes
“Petty fans appreciate the care taken with the music and the fact that they don’t try to be
impersonators. Top notch musicians paying homage to the incredible songwriting of Tom Petty”- Nick
Caplan, Program Director, Dinosaur Radio, Central New York
