Harbor of Hope 2026

Join us at the Boston Harbor Hotel on Wednesday, October 7, 2026 at 6:30 PM (Eastern Time) for one of South Boston's most beloved events, filled with inspiration and community. Harbor of Hope Auction & Cocktail Reception brings together people from all walks of life in celebration and support of the work of South Boston Community Health Center.

In addition to raising funds in support of our work, we’ll also be honoring two exceptional individals. Gilbert Winn, CEO of Winn Companies will receive our Partner in Hope Award in recognition of his decades of work expanding access to high quality, affordable housing and his unwavering committment to treating residents not just as tenants, but as valued partners. His efforts to include tenant voices, invest in resident services and build communitieswhere people are empowered, not just housed, has set a powerful example in the field.

Peter Welch, founder of Peter Welch’s Gym will receive our Beacon of Kindness Award. Peter has consistently demonstrated what it means to be a true community partner. His unwavering support of South Boston’s nonprofit organizations, his willingness to step up when help is needed, and his dedication to helping our neighbors to live healthier, more active lives embodies the spirit of the award.

As always, we'll have one-of-a-kind live and silent auctions, scrumptious food & cocktails, and lively entertainment. It's shaping up to be another spectacular event.
